Southwest Industrial Electric Implements Enhanced Safety Measures In Response To COVID-19
Dear Reader,
We as an essential business, have immediately implemented a number of enhanced safety measures to respond to COVID-19. In addition to complying with all CDC and government regulations, we expanded upon them to take the safety and health of our staff and the staff of our customers to an elevated level. This included enhancements in the areas of communication, social distancing, control plans and cleaning/sanitation. A few examples include: Communicated recommendations and other important tips to protect against COVID-19 to personnel via jobsite signage, email and text message, where possible. We established a Southwest Industrial Electric Exposure Control Plan that, among other enhanced safety measures, includes maintaining a daily attendance log of all workers and visitors, daily temperature checks of personnel, etc. These are just a few examples in a long list of enhanced measures we implemented. We continue our job site safety enhancements as we see more opportunities to implement best practices. We are actively monitoring this evolving situation and will continue to comply with all government requirements to do our part and protect our personnel, all jobsite workers, our customers, their staff and their families from the spread of COVID-19. As an effort to help support other essential service providers during these trying times, we have decided to cut 10% off of our standard labor rates for all commercial/industrial projects.
Sincerely,
Nick Rochefort
