Available Positions

Certified General Electricians 

As a Certified Electrician at Southwest Industrial Electric, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and systems, the ability to interpret blueprints, and the capability to manage electrical systems from 120V to 480V. You'll be expected to work on a variety of projects, lead crews, and ensure the successful completion of electrical installations. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.  
This is a full-time position. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in the commercial/industrial electrical field.
  • Proficiency in running EMT/IMC conduit and working with electrical systems up to 480V.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings.
  • Effective leadership skills, with experience managing crews on job sites.
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
  • Valid certification or licensure as a Journeyman Electrician.
