Southwest Industrial Electric | July 2025
Welcome to the July 2025 Edition of The Electric Link!
Summer is in full swing, and so is the Southwest Industrial Electric team. This month we’re highlighting client appreciation, major projects, and the importance of celebrating team wins. Let’s jump in.
🎳 Company Reward Event: Bowlero Pasadena
The SIE team took a well-earned break and hit the lanes at Bowlero Pasadena. It was a night filled with strikes, laughs, and real appreciation for the hard work everyone puts in every day. Events like this remind us that strong teams aren’t just built on projects—they’re built on people. Big thanks to everyone who came out and made the night memorable.

ABC SoCal Boat event

On July 31st, the SIE team attended the ABC SoCal networking event held aboard a boat departing from the Long Beach Port. The evening brought together young professionals and contractors from across Southern California for a chance to connect and share ideas outside the jobsite. Along with great conversations, the event featured a raffle and interactive games designed to help everyone get to know each other in a fun, relaxed setting. Southwest has been a proud member of ABC SoCal for the past few years, and we look forward to continuing our support in every way we can.
🔧 Project Spotlight: FedEx Lancaster

Scope of Work:
The project scope included installation of a new 45kVA transformer and 150A panelboard with breakers to support conveyors and the SWAK station. Eight strut racks were fabricated with 30A twistlock receptacles, along with two dedicated 20A circuits for SWAK equipment, lighting, and fan loads. The work also involved relocating the transformer and panel to reduce voltage drop, revising conduit runs to IMC/RMC, and providing a stub for an FXG network drop. All circuitry was tested, labeled, and commissioned.
- Why it matters:
Improved power reliability for conveyors and SWAK stations, reducing risk of downtime. - Dedicated circuits for equipment, lighting, and fans to prevent overload and ensure smooth operation.
- Optimized panel and transformer placement to minimize voltage drop and energy loss.
- Flexible infrastructure with strut racks and receptacles, making future expansions or adjustments easier.
If you have a project, give us a call, and ask how you can get a free estimate.

⚡ This Month in Electrical History: July 26, 1875 – Birth of Carl Jung... and the Origin of “Synchronicity” in Systems?

On this day in 1875, Carl Jung was born. He coined the idea of synchronicity—meaningful events that line up just right. In our world, that’s when panels, motors, and drives are optimized and working together. The result is smooth, reliable power. When they’re not, you get downtime and inefficiency. Call it philosophy, call it physics—we’re here to keep your systems in sync.
👥 Meet the Team: Sam Mizrany

What’s your role at SIE, and what brought you here?
Meet a member of the Southwest electrician team, Sam Mizrany.
Sam’s an electrician. He assists and takes on various kinds of electrical installations. Some key things that interested him in electrical are the depth and layer of the subject, both as a trade and occupation. Also, he enjoys learning and growing his skill set in order to become a greater asset to the team and even more instrumental in delivering excellent service/results to our customers.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
“What I like most about my job is that it challenges me daily. It’s also very rewarding to work in an environment where you can see the physical results of your labor, having made paths where there were once obstacles.”
💬 Client Shoutout
"Everything went well; and the service was very smooth. Southwest Electric got the project completed without impacting our production here, which we appreciate!"
